And Then theres the Media
I really didnt think this would amount to more than a small write up and a link to the blog, afterall, this is just a small challenge we are doing, but perhaps the coverage might make others give it a try.. heres the article, click the pic
Kudos to you and your family for this undertaking! I know it's not easy at first, but it does get easier. I can't say that I produce zero garbage, but my family puts out one SMALL garbage bag about once every three weeks. I have been an ECOHOLIC for over 25 years! You can visit my Blog for all kinds of eco tips and hints! I'll be checking out your Blog and your progress!!! Debb
anerobic composting releases very small amounts of methane gas, minute... however...aerobic composting which is what we are doing, doesnt released methane gas.. I looked before I lept.
you guys are absolutely fantastic for giving this a shot. congratulations on a great idea. i hope you succeed in your challenge and i hope you inspire many to live a more environmentally friendly lifestyle. i know you've inspired me. i already do everything that i can, but the lady i'm renting a room from uses her recycle bin as storage and gets 2 venti sized cold drinks from starbucks every day and throws them away. if only some people could see the amount of waste they make without even realizing it. good luck folks! i'm telling my friends about you.
