The Racoons got into the garbage last night but no free lunch once more. Since March 1st, there is a lightbulb from our fridge, moldy bread, lots of dust bunnies, hair from buzzcuts, a poopy diaper from my neice and some broken pieces off some toys that were swept up.

Q92.7's Terry and Mel interviewed Chantal on Eatth Day about our challange at first the were grossed out about the whole worm thing, but with a bit of explanation, they thought it was really cool. The interview was played throughout the day and was added every news break, they called us heros of Earth Day, if being a hero is this easy, why wouldnt everyone do it?

another week has gone by and ,its going well.. We did some spring cleaning yesterday, and when your doing a "No curbside garbage challenge" its a difficult thing to spring clean! We have to be sure everything gets to where it should, metal to the scrapman, we had lots of cardboard, it was bundled up and will either be at the road for the recycling truck or I will drop it off at the dump, in their cardboard bin. We have some electronics as well , but are going to have a garage sale first to see what we can get rid of,, soemone else can Reuse our unwanted stuff. Found a ton of old clothes that we are baggin up for the Salvation Army bins. also found another bundle of reuseable cloth bags for grocery shopping! Cheers all.. Happy Spring!!
